Application Analyst – Revenue Cycle- Collections

As the Application Associate Analyst, you will work on software design and configuration, upgrades, and improvements for lab operations. As a primary support contact for application end-users, the Epic Application Associate Analyst will work to identify issues that arise in the application area as well as issues that impact other application teams and work to resolve

them. The analyst will guide workflow design, build and test the system, and analyze other technical issues associated with the lab operation and business software.

The Epic Application Associate Analyst will potentially support the following area(s):

  • Epic Prelude: Patient registration
  • Epic Referrals: Referral process for patients
  • Epic Identity: Manage patient identities and duplicate records
  • Epic Resolute PB: Professional or physician billing
  • Epic Resolute PB Claims: Professional billing insurance claims and remittances

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Configure and maintain billing, insurance claims, and payment reconciliation modules within Epic.
  • Act as a liaison between end users and technical teams.
  • Troubleshoot user-submitted tickets via ServiceNow (e.g., printer issues, display errors).
  • Log in as the end user, replicate issues, and trace back root causes.
  • Handles tickets related to revenue cycle modules in Epic.
  • Collaborates with billing teams and finance-related users.

Skills Needed :

  • Tech-savvy with Excel proficiency.
  • Comfortable translating non-technical user feedback into actionable tasks.
  • Familiarity with healthcare financial processes is a bonus.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience configuring or using system applications
  • Familiarity with Healthcare IT, Medical terminology, healthcare billing, or health Informatics.
  • Medical Terminology: understanding of medical terminology, especially related to procedures, diagnoses, and billing codes.
  • Basic knowledge of the Revenue cycle (charge capture to claims, submission, and reimbursement)
  • Experience with Billing Systems: Familiarity with other healthcare billing systems
  • Knowledge of Insurance and Payer Systems: Basic understanding of insurance plans, billing rules, and payer requirements.

Salary Range :
