Application Support – Mainframe

Strong understanding of IBM z/OS operating system and its architecture. - Proficiency in COBOL (Common Business-Oriented Language) for application support - Knowledge of JCL (Job Control Language) for batch processing and job scheduling. - Knowledge of mainframe subsystems such as CICS (Customer Information Control System), DB2, IMS, and MQ. - Familiarity with REXX (Restructured Extended Executor) for scripting and automation. - Expertise in working with IBM DB2 databases, including SQL queries and performance tuning
