Production Support Engineer – AWS - Hybrid - £90,000
A high-growth trading technology startup is hiring a Production Support Engineer to take ownership of the stability, reliability, and performance of its live trading environments.
This is a production-first role supporting real-time systems across AWS-hosted backend services and Vercel-hosted frontend applications, including low-latency trade execution and crypto exchange connectivity.
The Role
Own availability, performance, and health of multiple production environments
Act as a primary responder for live incidents across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
Support JavaScript GUIs (Vercel), services, and Java-based low-latency trading systems
Troubleshoot trading connectivity across REST, WebSocket, and FIX APIs
Improve monitoring, alerting, and operational runbooks to reduce incident frequency

Support AWS environments (EC2, ECS, RDS, Redis, S3, Lambda)
