Job Description

An elite proprietary trading firm is seeking an Application Support Specialist for its Montreal office (hybrid, 3 days onsite).

Responsibilities

  • Support proprietary trading applications and trading teams
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, deploy and configure software, monitor systems
  • Provide technical support during trading operations
  • Collaborate with traders and research teams on strategy analysis

Requirements

  • 2-3 years in application support or similar role
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP, multicast, routing)
  • Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Linux and Windows experience
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work rotating schedules (including nights/early mornings)
