We're Hiring: Application/Production Support Engineer (Contract)
Location: (Remote / Onsite – City, State)
Duration:12 Months Contract Extendible
Are you an experienced Application/Production Support Engineer with strong expertise in Linux/Unix, Oracle, and Web Logic? We're looking for a contractor to join our team and support critical enterprise applications in a high-availability environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide Level 2/3 support for enterprise applications in production.
- Troubleshoot issues across Linux/Unix, Web Logic, and Oracle environments.
- Monitor application and system health; respond to incidents and outages.
- Collaborate with development, database, and infrastructure teams for deployments, fixes, and upgrades.
- Drive root cause analysis and improve system stability.
- Write/maintain automation scripts (Shell, Python, etc.).
- Document support processes and knowledge base entries.
