About the role

The Application Tools Team is responsible for maintaining and configuring the tools used for software deployment and operating system deployment using Microsoft Configuration Manager and Adaptive. It assists the Application packagers with more complex packaging requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and integrate new hardware into Microsoft Configuration Manager for OSD, ensuring all drivers and required driver apps are installed.
  • Assist application packagers with advanced packaging issues.
  • Maintain management tools/servers (Microsoft Configuration Manager, Adaptive); assist with keeping tools/servers up to date and with any build issues.
  • Assist with identifying, testing, and implementing improvements to the build process.
  • Assist with software deployment and install issues.
  • Identify improvements to the application packaging process, keeping work instructions (WIs) up to date.
  • Assist Applications Senior, Architects, and Security with testing and implementing any SOE configuration changes.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years with application packaging.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Configuration Manager and Adaptive on Windows Server systems.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and standards.
  • Good knowledge of PowerShell and SQL.
  • Some knowledge or experience with Intune and Office 365.
