About the Role

We are looking for an Application Test Engineer to ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of our AI-based web application products . The role involves testing intelligent features, validating APIs and data, and working closely with development and AI/ML teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual and automation test cases for AI-based web applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI/UX testing.
• Validate AI-driven features for accuracy, relevance, and consistency.
• Test REST APIs and backend workflows using tools like Postman.
• Log, track, and verify defects using tools such as JIRA, etc.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support UAT activities.
• Automate regression scenarios using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, QA methodologies, and defect life cycle.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing (functional, regression, integration).
• Basic knowledge of automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Cypress).
• Familiarity with API testing (Postman, SoapUI) and SQL for database validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Good to Have

• Exposure to AI or chatbot testing.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python/Java/JavaScript).
• Performance testing experience (JMeter).
• ISTQB certification.
