Applications Configuration Engineers at the District perform independent research within business to resolve business issues and process improvements. Formulates and defines business scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of business and industry requirements. With this knowledge, develops or modifies complex business process. Performs functional analysis, technical requirements definition and application module configuration and testing. Works in all phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. Is responsible for conducting prototypes, developing functional specifications, data mapping, function mapping, creating and managing configuration and transaction/control tables. Has a thorough understanding of the business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and the development of solutions for the business functions.
Basic Responsibilities
We are seeking an Applications Configuration Engineer as a SAP Basis Administrator that will provide technical expertise in support and management of the SAP applications built on SUSE servers, including assisting with the installation and configuration of SAP systems and gaining familiarity with integrations and applications. This position will maintain all instances of SAP including Sbx, Dev, QA, Training, Lab, and Production environments connected to HANA DB, including ECC, CRM, Gateway, GRC, Solution Manager, and XI/PI. SAP Basis Administrator will be responsible for managing and administering the technical aspects of the on premise SAP system, ensuring efficient and consistent system performance, as well as support the migration to the cloud. SAP Basis Administrator will be responsible for translating the on-premise Basis tasks to how the District will operate and support SAP in Private Cloud ERP, including working with ECS (SAP Enterprise Cloud Services). This position will master SAP Fiori, SAP’s latest primary user interface in SAP S/4HANA and have a good understanding of:

Applications Configuration Engineer II: $114,420 - $143,025 Annually

Applications Configuration Engineer III: $143,528 - $179,410 Annually

Nine (9) years progressively more responsible experience in software engineering.

Long-Term Disability (LTD)
LTD insurance is income protection in the event of disability due to injury or illness sustained either on or off the job. Employees are eligible to receive a monthly benefit of 50% of basic monthly earnings (to a maximum benefit of $10,000 per month) after a 90-calendar day waiting period is met.
