A well-established manufacturer of advanced machining solutions is seeking an Applications Engineer to join its North Carolina-based team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong CNC programming background and a passion for turnkey manufacturing solutions.



What You'll Do

Lead the full cycle of turnkey machining projects — from program creation to on-site customer implementation

Develop and optimize CNC programs (primarily Fanuc, with -axis applications strongly preferred)

Set up tooling, fixtures, and machining processes for cycle time and quality targets

Validate processes using SPC techniques and CMM inspection data

Partner with proposal and sales teams on application reviews and pre-sales consultations

Conduct customer training sessions and support technical troubleshooting (on-site and remote)
