Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a Sheffield based manufacturer, specialising in forgings, casting and machining, who are looking for an experienced Applications Engineer to join the team.

Based in Metrology, the successful candidate for this role will be leading the way in NPI and legacy products, ensuring consistency and accuracy within the day to day manufacture of components.

As the Applications Engineer (Metrology) you will:

  • Deliver on Metrology portion for Manufacturing Readiness for assigned programs, so planned jobs are ready to run effectively on schedule. Ensure completion of tasks either by execution or work of other team members
  • Be accountable for measurement system planning, development, and work with quality on validation for assigned programs. This includes FAIR, PPAP, equipment selection (including capacity), fixturing, CMM programs, gauges, documentation, and other supporting elements to ensure...
