Position Overview

The Solar Appointment Setter is responsible for being the first point of contact for potential customers interested in solar energy. This role focuses on qualifying leads, building rapport, and scheduling high-quality solar consultations for the sales team. Success in this role is measured by appointment quality, show rate, and communication consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact inbound and outbound solar leads via phone, text, and CRM
  • Qualify homeowners based on basic criteria (homeownership, interest, availability)
  • Clearly explain the purpose and value of a solar consultation
  • Schedule solar appointments with all homeowners/decision-makers present
  • Confirm appointments via text and phone to maximize show rates
  • Accurately update notes, dispositions, and appointment details in the CRM
  • Follow up with unresponsive leads using approved scripts
