Overview:

As a Apprentice - Cabling Engineer you will work in world class data centres that run critical national infrastructure for the UK finance industry. You will work alongside Data Centre Infrastructure Engineers to ensure IT equipment and cabling is installed and maintained to allow critical services to run reliably.
Role:
• Cabling Installation and decommissioning:
Installing new racks and cabling systems (copper Cat 6 and Multimode fibre optic ) according to specifications and industry standards. Decommissioning of redundant cabling systems and racks.
• Cable Management:
Ensuring proper cable routing, organization, and termination to maintain a tidy and efficient data centre environment.
• Troubleshooting and Repair:
Identifying and resolving issues with cabling infrastructure, including network connectivity problems.
