    • Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre have a vacancy for a Plumbing Apprentice with our host company based in the Keysborough area.

    Apprenticeship

    Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is a Group Training Organisation who employs apprentices and trainees then places them with Host Organisations. We provide support for all apprentices and trainees by way of our mentoring program which fits in with regular visits to the workplace and TAFE.

    • Your duties include:

  • Prepare, examine, and understand plans and specifications
  • Create the layout of plumbing systems and required materials
  • Measure, cut, or bend pipes into position for connections
  • Cut holes through walls and floors to install pipes
  • Join pipe sections and secure them
  • Assemble and install piping, valves, and fittings
  • Test lines using local plumbing regulations and report finding
  • Assemble and install plumbing equipment and appliances
  • Maintain and repair the plumbing systems

    • Desirable Requirements:

  • Year 11 schooling
  • Eagerness to learn new skills
  • Positive approach to workplace safety

    • Mandatory Requirements:

  • Must be an Australian Citizen or have the right to work in Australia
