We are looking for our next P&C Retail Pricing and Underwriting Analyst apprentice at our AXA Headquarters!

Location : 25 avenue Matignon, 8th arrondissement Paris.

Within Group Underwriting Office, you will join the P&C Retail Underwriting & Pricing teams as P&C Retail Pricing and Underwriting Retail Analyst.

The purpose of the P&C Retail Pricing & Underwriting Analyst position is to drive technical excellence in retail with entities worldwide, supporting them in achieving growth and profitability. With the support of the other more senior team members, your role will be articulated on the following main dimensions: 

  • Portfolio Design Steering
  • Underwriting Product Strategy and Profitability Measurement
  • Technical Pricing & Underwriting Guidance
  • Pricing Models, Platforms and Analytics
  • Risk Appetite deployment
  • Ceded Reinsurance strategy design and purchasing

    • What You’ll Do

    In the Pricing team : 

  • Work together with entities on their Pricing Excellence journey and challenge the status quo
  • Participate in worldwide communities and be active in the different working groups

    • In the Underwriting team

  • Engaging with entities and follow their operations progress, notably portfolio steering capabilities.
  • Helping to set guidelines, limits & derogations, bringing technical expertise and local specificities.

    Who You Are

  • Very good analytical and concise communication in an international environment.
  • Ability to work in network, with tight deadlines and team spirit. 
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to challenge a variety of topics impacting the insurance value chain.
  • Taste for identifying the explicit & implicit rules of the different insurance markets.
