Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage SQL Server administration and operational support across enterprise environments
  • Handle reactive and critical production incidents, including performance degradation, outages, and security issues
  • Design, implement, and support High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions such as Failover Clustering and Always On Availability Groups
  • Perform SQL Server migrations, upgrades, installations, patching, and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and optimize SQL Server performance, including query tuning, indexing, and resource utilization
  • Manage SQL Server security, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and compliance controls
  • Develop and execute clear action plans during incidents and ensure follow-up through to closure
