Job Title: AR Caller (Medical Billing) NextGen & eCW Experience

Experience Required: 15 years in AR calling with hands-on experience in NextGen and eCW software.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AR Caller to join our medical billing team. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with NextGen and eClinicalWorks (eCW) software, possess excellent communication skills, and have a solid understanding of the revenue cycle management (RCM) process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to insurance companies to resolve outstanding claims.
• Analyze denied claims and follow up with payers for claim resolution.
• Update the billing system (NextGen/eCW) with accurate and complete notes after each call.
• Review and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), denials, and remittance advice.
• Work on rejections, appeals, and reconsiderations as needed.
• Maintain productivity and quality metrics as set by the team lead or manager.
• Collaborate with internal teams for accurate coding, billing, and documentation issues.
• Handle patient calls or inquiries related to outstanding balances if required.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 15 years of AR calling experience in the US healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in NextGen and eClinicalWorks (eCW) billing software.
• Strong knowledge of the US healthcare revenue cycle, including claims submission, denials, and follow-ups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other practice management or EHR systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT/ICD-10 codes.
• Prior experience in a BPO/KPO or medical billing company preferred.
