Archaeology Technician

AECOM is seeking an Archaeology Technician (Archaeology Technician II) to join our Cultural Resource team.  This is a remote opportunity that can be based in Phoenix, AZ or Albuquerque, NM and will report to our Phoenix Cultural Resources team. 

*This is a part-time, on-call position meaning workdays and times will be determined on an as-needed basis. Candidates could work on various cultural resource survey, and archaeological monitoring and excavation projects.

The Archaeological Technician primarily performs fieldwork under the supervision of a Crew Chief, Field Director and/or Principal Investigator, but could include tasks in a laboratory setting under the direction of a laboratory manager. Field projects will primarily be located in New Mexico and Arizona, but opportunities for work in other states may be available.
