Role Summary
The Solution Engineer Solution Manager will lead end to end solution shaping design and delivery planning for an infrastructure modernisation programme covering Citrix 2203 LTSR EOSL remediation SolarWinds Cisco suite including Prime EOSL Airflow and Server Protect The role combines hands on technical discovery with solution architecture delivery governance risk management and value realisation to ensure high quality outcomes aligned to enterprise standards and strategy
Core Responsibilities
Business case and scope validation Review business case scope objectives constraints and success criteria confirm assumptions and dependencies
High level discovery and assessment Inventory current state for Citrix SolarWinds Cisco suite Airflow and Server Protect confirm EOSL ES status configuration baselines integrations and support models
Blueprints and documentation readiness Identify blueprints and documents to amend define training needs and support model changes for BAU teams
Capacity and procurement planning Assess physical and virtual server status capacity licensing and OS platform currency define procurement and lead times
Solution planning and WBS Identify key activities and deliverables produce a high level work breakdown structure milestones and critical path
Requirements gathering with Service Manager and Project Manager
Collect and rationalise high level technical regulatory and security requirements
Product roadmap control Detect conflicts eliminate duplicates
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or equivalent experience
Relevant certifications desirable Citrix eg CCE V CCP V SolarWinds Cisco CCNA CCNP security eg CISSP CCSP or cloud platform certifications where relevant
