Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Architecture & Design: Lead the end-to-end architecture and solution design for core banking projects leveraging Thought Machine Vault Coreensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organisational objectives..
• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and IT teams to capture functional and non-functional requirements, and translate them into scalable technical specifications.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Planning: Architect cloud-native solutions and migration strategies for core banking platforms, focusing on scalability, performance, security, and cost optimisation.
• Platform Setup: Infrastructure sizing , Environment setup and Security and compliance guardrails
• Setting up CI /CD pipelines and monitoring & Logging
• Integration & Interoperability: Design integration frameworks to enable secure, efficient, and reliable connectivity between Vault Core, and third-party systems (payments, CRM, analytics, etc.).
• Solution Delivery & Quality Assurance: Oversee solution delivery, perform architecture reviews, and enforce best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and banking trends; recommend enhancements to platform architecture for agility and future scalability.
• Documentation & Training: Prepare comprehensive architecture documentation, technical blueprints, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in banking technology, with at least 8 years as a solution architect for core banking platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with Thought Machine Vault Core – deep knowledge of product architecture, APIs, and customisation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (GCP), microservices, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps methodologies.
• Migration experience from legacy platforms to Thought Machine Vault Core.
• Experience in setting up Thought machine environment on public cloud.
• Proven experience in designing secure, high-performance, and resilient banking solutions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with Indian and global banking regulations, data protection, and compliance requirements.
