For one of our part time project , We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Architectural Technician with expert level proficiency in Autocad, Sketchup and solid experience in 3 D modelling.
Role: Architect/ Architectural Technician
Experience: 4 to 10 years
Duration: 1-2 months
Engagement mode: Remote (work form home)
Work mode: Part time only
Start date: Immediate. Only someone who could start immediate apply.
The job role mainly includes designing, space planning and creating drawings using Auto CAD, 3 D models, and completing admin office tasks that support residential architectural projects.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a broad range of CAD and 3 D modelling skills. The right candidate must have experience of developing 2 D drawings and 3 D models, solid experience in Sketch Up modelling software and Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop for 3 D visual presentation purposes.
Ability to realise design intent with expert 3 D modelling and rendering skills in Lumion, Sketch Up, Rhino, V-Ray or alternative rendering programmes.
This is a remote part-time role only with work timings from in the evening hours of IST or my mutual arrangement.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed planning application drawings, technical drawings, specifications, and construction information and construction documents using Auto CAD.
Create accurate 3 D models and visualisations with Sketch Up, Grasshopper 3 D, or any other preferred software to work on interior design projects.
Manage current and future projects swiftly and ensure tasks are completed up to date.
Be able to clearly and consistently communication with clients and colleagues as part of basic office admin tasks.
Assist in system design and graphic presentation for architectural proposals.
Maintain organised digital files and ensure all drawings adhere to project standards and deadlines.
Requirements
Have experience doing planning applications/ Permits. Know how to do the planning application drawings.
Proven experience with CAD software such as Auto CAD
Proficiency in 3 D modelling tools including Sketch Up, Lumion, V-Ray Grasshopper 3 D, Rhinoceros 3 D or alternative rendering programmes (3 D modelling).
Knowledge of system design principles relevant to architecture and construction projects.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
A recognised qualification in architecture or related field is preferred, however experience is valued more. This role offers an engaging environment for creative problem-solving within the architectural industry, requiring a proactive approach to technical development and collaboration across disciplines.
