Job Description
The Manulife Corporate Archives manages and makes available to business units worldwide the permanent records of Manulife, John Hancock, its subsidiaries, and acquired companies. The Corporate Archives supports risk management, research and reference activities, and Company-wide engagement. It serves as a unique resource that can be accessed and consulted by teams across Manulife in support of business initiatives and strategic priorities.
The Archives Specialist is a key member of a team of archival professionals responsible for the selection, preservation, and maintenance of historical and permanent records for Manulife. Key responsibilities of this role include the arrangement and description of permanent records, research and reference services, and archival outreach.
This position reports to the Manager, Corporate Archives, and will involve day-to-day collaboration with another experienced Archivist.
