Job Description

We are seeking an Area Executive to formulate and implement Trade Marketing and Distribution (TM&D) plans at the outlet level to achieve sales expectations. You will be responsible for ensuring market and outlet coverage, visible product availability, and freshness, while also managing stock control and providing accurate forecasting. This role requires strong market knowledge, the ability to build superior trade relations, and strict adherence to the company's code of conduct and all statutory compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Target Achievement: Achieve and monitor sales expectations against targets.
  • Trade Marketing & Distribution (TM&D): Formulate and implement TM&D plans, including market and outlet coverage. Ensure visible product availability and freshness according to norms.
  • Implementation of Brand Plans: Implement trade and consumer schemes, and ensure quality execution of merchandising activities.
  • Stock Control: Maintain accurate forecasting, ensure timely remittances, and recommend appropriate MBRs in SAP. Ensure pipeline reconciliation.
  • Market Knowledge & Competitive Feedback: Possess complete territorial knowledge, including competition brands, prices, and activities. Provide timely feedback on competitive activities and offer constructive recommendations.
  • Wholesale Distributor (WD) Operations: Educate and train customer groups. Assist in the effective functioning of WD operations, including order capture and delivery systems. Demonstrate selling techniques to customers.
  • Compliance: Adhere to the code of conduct and comply with all statutory and regulatory norms.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in sales, trade marketing, and distribution.
  • Strong skills in forecasting, stock control, and managing remittances.
  • Excellent market knowledge and the ability to analyze competitive activities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain superior trade relations.
  • Experience in assisting with WD operations, including order capture and delivery systems.
  • Strict adherence to a code of conduct and statutory compliance.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
