Key Responsibilities
- Experience in Legal Due Diligence, Title Search Report of properties offered as security for loans as per Karnataka State Laws,
- Independently vet and scrutinize Title Search Reports (TSR), Title Certificates, and Encumbrance Certificates (EC).
- Draft, review, and vet mortgage deeds and other security documents,
- Review land conversion orders, khata Certificates, property documents, EC to ensure regulatory compliance,
- Good knowledge about multiple types of collateral offered against loan,
- Coordinate with external legal vendors, panel advocates, and valuers to obtain Title Search Reports within time,
- Must have hands-on experience in Mortgages, LAP (Loan Against Property) and Housing Finance.
- Good command over Karnataka Land Laws, Succession Laws, and Property Laws.
Education: LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
