We are currently seeking an experienced
Area Manager
to lead and expand the University Education Division across
English-speaking markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) .
This strategic role will be key in driving market consolidation, strengthening international partnerships, and accelerating sustainable growth in the region. The successful candidate will act as a regional ambassador for Grupo Planeta's academic institutions, ensuring alignment with the Group's global strategy and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute the
market consolidation and expansion strategy
for the University Education Division across EMEA.
Develop, manage, and strengthen a
high-performing network of educational agents, associations, and strategic partners .
Define and implement
commercial, recruitment, and administrative strategies
to drive student enrollment and institutional growth.
Oversee school leads and ensure operational processes comply with
Grupo Planeta's academic, commercial, and quality standards .
Conduct continuous
market intelligence and competitive analysis
to identify new opportunities, risks, and growth levers.
Represent Grupo Planeta and its institutions at
international education fairs, industry events, and key stakeholder meetings .
Act as a trusted internal partner, collaborating closely with central teams (academic, marketing, admissions, finance) to ensure regional success.
Requirements
MUST HAVE: 2 years minimum of management experience
within the international higher education sector.
MUST HAVE : Proven track record working with
educational agents and international strategic partners .
Strong
hybrid profile
combining commercial acumen, administrative rigor, and strategic thinking.
Entrepreneurial, competitive, and
results-driven mindset , with the ability to deliver short-term impact while building long-term value.
Solid understanding of the
international higher education market , particularly in Europe and/or Africa.
Excellent
negotiation, intercultural communication, and stakeholder management
skills.
High availability and willingness to
travel frequently
across the region.
Fluency in English is mandatory ; Spanish is a strong plus.
Salary: 40K€ to 45K€ /Year OTE
