Location: Gujarat (Rajkot/ Jamnagar)


Reports to: Regional Head


 


Role Overview:


As an Area Manager at MKS, you will be responsible for driving new account development and expanding existing customer relationships within the assigned territory. You will partner closely with Key Account Managers, the Regional Sales Manager, customers, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and achieve sales targets. This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager and requires strong customer engagement, product knowledge, and frequent travel within the territory.



 


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop new accounts and expand existing customers within the assigned geographic territory.

  • Drive sales by identifying, generating, and converting new business opportunities.

  • Manage key or strategic accounts and larger sales territories as assigned.

  • Engage with prospective customers through meetings, product presentations, demonstrations, and pricing discussions.

  • Act as the primary interface between customers and internal teams, ensuring a clear understanding of customer needs and business requirements.

  • Maintain strong product knowledge to effectively position company offerings.

  • Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals.

  • Travel frequently within the assigned territory as required.


 


Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required; Master’s degree in Business preferred.

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant sales experience.

  • Exposure to OEM sales is an advantage.

  • Proven capability in business development and customer relationship management.

  • Experience in the Surface Coating and Electroplating industries preferred.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
