Summary:

The Area Sales Manager / Deputy Area Sales Manager role at Squarefoot is a pivotal position responsible for driving project-based sales growth in the Jaipur region. As a key leader in our expanding network, you will spearhead the promotion and specification of premium interior and architectural surface solutions—including engineered wood flooring, laminates, wall panels, and decking—across residential, commercial, and large-scale developments. This role demands a proactive, results-driven professional with deep market knowledge and a proven ability to build strategic relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and developers. You will play a critical role in expanding our dealer network, achieving aggressive sales targets, and positioning Squarefoot as the preferred choice in high-value projects. With a strong focus on innovation, quality, and customer engagement, this role offers significant growth potential within a rapidly scaling organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow project sales for Squarefoot’s product portfolio across the Jaipur region.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, and developers.
  • Identify new project opportunities and drive product specification through technical presentations and site visits.
  • Expand and manage the dealer/channel partner network to enhance market reach and service delivery.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets while ensuring sustainable business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order execution, collections, and after-sales support.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and pricing dynamics to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and actionable market insights on a regular basis.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales within construction materials, including plywood, laminates, flooring, or wood-based finishes.
  • Proven track record in project sales with a strong focus on B2B engagements.
  • Established and active network with architects, designers, builders, and contractors in the Jaipur region.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools for sales tracking and reporting.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the region.
