Job Description

Sedgemoor Manor School are recruiting for an Art Therapist to join our Therapy team. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our therapy team - with a passion and knowledge surrounding ASD and sensory processing disorders. The successful candidate will join our multi-disciplinary team, which may suit someone experienced in a special needs environment or newly qualified, who will be required to work closely with other Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals providing support to students; reporting to the Therapy Manager.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered
  • Experience of working with young people with complex needs is essential
  • An experience/awareness of Sensory Processing Disorders and the application of sensory integration theory in practice, assessment and clinical observations and you will be able to demonstrate a dynamic and creative approach to delivering treatment approaches
