ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time, paid articleship / internship role in the Finance & Accounts function, based in Patna. The selected candidate will work closely with senior professionals on live client assignments , gaining hands-on exposure to accounting, audits, taxation, financial analysis, and regulatory frameworks.

The role is structured to build strong technical foundations , commercial understanding , and professional judgment —key skills required for successful careers in CA practice, industry, consulting, or finance leadership roles.

EXPOSURE AND LEARNING

The intern / article will be actively involved in maintaining and reviewing books of accounts, preparation and finalisation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards, and assisting in statutory, tax, internal, and concurrent audits. The role includes practical exposure to GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory compliances , preparation and filing of returns, and responding to departmental queries.

Candidates will also assist in financial analysis, MIS reporting, project finance documentation, bank audits, loan appraisals, and regulatory research , including interpretation of accounting standards, tax laws, and notifications. Unlike routine roles, the intern will be encouraged to understand the commercial substance of transactions , not just their accounting treatment.
