Artificial Intelligence Engineer

We are hiring for our esteemed client, a leading organization that is Canada’s largest provider of property and casualty insurance, serving millions of individual and business customers.

The company operates through a strong portfolio of trusted brands across Canada, the U.S., and select international markets, with a strong focus on customer-centric, data-driven insurance solutions.

Required Skills

Proficient in AWS services such as Step functions, Lambdas, SQS, ECS, EC2, Fargate, Cloudwatch, ALB

Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines

Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code management

Experience with Docker

Strong programming skills in Python, including libraries such as Pydantic, FastAPI, Pandas, Celery and package management tools like Poetry or Pants

Good expertise in deploying AI solutions in complex ecosystem

Also GenAI and Agentic workflow knowledge is a must.

Key Accountabilities

The person will work on different tasks across different project, those tasks will be technical focus (with minimal to no business logics), examples are

-vulnerability fix (e.g. update of python library/ python version)

-security fix (e.g. update of certificate/ apply new AWS security group settings)

-production bug investigation

-unit testing implementation

-cicd templates

-infrastucture deployments
