**The opportunity**



**The Artwork Quality Control Coordinator** will perform quality checks of new artworks, amends and final blueprint proofs in line with Regulatory and Business Unit requirements. Action daily tasks within Artwork Management system in line with departmental KPI and timelines. Work closely with other members of the department to resolve queries and deliver high quality artwork.



**How you’ll spend your day**



• Perform quality checks on every draft of artwork to ensure artworks are created in-line with studio brief. Compare the artwork content against the supplied text file to ensure artwork content is correct. Ensure artwork is built to the correct technical requirements, design guidelines and local regulatory requirements.

• Complete quality check of the final blueprint proof against the approved artwork.

• Have departmental sign off responsibilities for the approval of draft artworks and for the approval of the final blueprint proof for print.

• Ensure all approvals and quality checks are documented and logged in the relevant location.

• Provide clear instruction to Artworker for internal amends that fail QC checks.

• Work closely with Studio Coordination team to resolve queries and ensure ‘right first time’.

• Route approved artwork for approval to necessary stakeholders.

• Work efficiently to complete tasks in line with scheduled timeline of the Artwork Management System.

• Ability to recognise and prioritise key products. Working to expedited timelines to meet deadlines when required.

• Take corrective action when required. If necessary, escalate to Artwork or Coordination team.

• Ensure all processes, SOP and Working Instructions are adhered to thus minimising the occurrence of non-conforming materials.

• Ensure database and spreadsheets are updated in a timely manner.

• Adapt to continuous improvement within the department with the view of improving customer service and right first time.

• Attend team meetings for training updates as well as general communication.



**Your experience and qualifications**



• Relevant education

• Experience with proofreading or performing quality checks against Artwork briefs, technical requirements and design guidelines.

• Computer literate.

• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

• Knowledge of packaging and/or the print industry desirable.

• Quality / Attention to detail.

• Fluent in English both written and spoken.

• Organised and methodical.

• Numerate and literate to a high standard.

• Clear communication.

• Problem solving and ability to work with team to resolve problems.
