We are currently searching for a AS400 Admin:

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain IBM i systems (formerly AS400).
  • Handle software installation and upgrades, and perform hardware maintenance.
  • Manage system backups and recovery processes.
  • Oversee user security administration on the platform.
  • Conduct performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Perform SQL query execution and manage version control.
  • Participate in the testing of new applications.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 8 to 10 years of relevant systems administration experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems or related field (partial degree or technical certification in IT is acceptable).
  • Mandatory Technical Knowledge:
  • Strong knowledge of AS400 / IBM i administration.
  • Proficiency in SQL.

Languages

  • Advanced Oral English.
  • Native Spanish.
