The role

As aLawyer (ASIC 3 or ASIC 4), you will use your legal expertise to help uncover, assess and respond to potential misconduct, contributing to matters that directly protect consumers and strengthen the financial system. You will play a key role in supporting inquiries, investigations and enforcement action across our regulatory remit.


You will:

  • Contribute to investigation planning, legal research and case strategy, working as part of multidisciplinary enforcement teams to progress matters effectively.

  • Apply legal and evidence gathering techniques such as interviewing witnesses, drafting affidavits, issuing compulsory notices and supporting examinations or search warrant activity.

  • Prepare high quality legal documents and briefs for civil, criminal and administrative action, and support proceedings in State and Federal Courts.
