Experience:
3–8 years (Infra / Project Sales preferred)
Role Overview:
The Infra Sales professional will be responsible for direct B2B sales by engaging with commercial and industrial construction projects . The role strictly involves handling end clients and project stakeholders directly , with no involvement in channel partners or distributor networks .
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle direct B2B clients only ; no channel sales or distributor management involved.
- Generate business from commercial and industrial construction projects , including:
- Hotels & Hospitality Projects
- Shopping Malls & Commercial Complexes
- Schools & Educational Institutions
- Hospitals & Healthcare Projects
- Airports & Large Infrastructure Projects
- Industrial Plants & Factories
- Build and maintain relationships with:
- Builders & Developers
- EPC Contractors
- Project Managers
- Architects & Consultants
- Conduct 5–6 client/site visits per day to:
- Identify project requirements
- Present products/solutions
- Follow up on enquiries and negotiations
- Track project pipelines from enquiry to order closure .
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and techno-commercial discussions.
- Coordinate with internal teams for execution, documentation, and order fulfilment.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals .
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in infra / project sales (direct B2B) .
- Strong exposure to commercial and industrial construction projects .
- Ability to work in a field-intensive role with multiple daily site visits.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Must be result-oriented and capable of independent client handling.
Preferred Background:
- Experience in construction materials, scaffolding, access systems, building products, MEP, or infra-related products . paint, putty, false ceiling, tiles, HVAC.
- Understanding of project sales cycles and tendering processes.
KPIs / Performance Metrics:
- Number of daily client/site visits (minimum 5–6)
- Project conversion ratio
- Monthly and quarterly revenue achievement
- Client retention and repeat business
