Asphalt Foreman (Unionized)

SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director, London Region, the Asphalt Foreman oversees the daily operations of a construction crew, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will be accountable for maintaining safety compliance, meeting production goals, mentoring crew members, and ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and company expectations.

PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE

SAFETY & COMPLIANCE

• Know, understand, communicate, and ensure compliance with company safety regulations.
• Complete incident reports and other safety documentation promptly.

CREW LEADERSHIP & SUPERVISION

• Lead the crew and take accountability for completion of assigned work.
• Communicate and assign individual tasks to crew members.
• Set work standards, maintain strong work ethic, and foster positive crew morale.
