Job Description Job Description FUNCTION:Performs mechanical assembly work with varying degrees of complexity. Assembly procedures may involve adjusting, trimming and fitting parts to moderately close tolerances, working with parts or components which are difficult to handle and other skills which require good dexterity and facility in the use of a variety of hand tools.KEY RESULT AREAS: Parts are assembled according to specifications and standard shop practices. Parts are consistently handled and protected properly and safely. Work standards are consistently met and improved. Wasted effort and material is constantly sought and eliminated. Constantly seeks additional work to ensure high levels of productivity are achieved. Duties are constantly performed in a safe manner to ensure compliance with safety specifications.
