Essential Skills And Functions To Be Possessed And Demonstrated:

  • Perform Fiber Optic Testing & Splicing (Outside Plant Certified)

  • Perform Low Voltage (1000V) Cable Testing & Medium Voltage (6000V+) Cable Testing a. Conductor Resistance, Insulation Resistance, Crosstalk/Attenuation, Impedance, Resistance, and High Potential Testing.

  • Measure resistance, continuity, voltage using test equipment.

  • Perform & Assist in Hydrostatic Pressure Testing of SDSS Umbilicals & DE Products (phone number removed)psi).

  • Set up specialized equipment, perform leak checks by using appropriate equipment and procedures, and verify check completion.

  • Operation and Basic Maintenance of High Pressure Water Jet & Hydratron Pumps.

  • Record all pertinent data, ensure correct digital recording methods are used...
