Job Description
PGS Worldwide is seeking an SMT Solder Technician (Rework/X-Ray) in Oldsmar, FL for a 1-year contract-to-hire role working Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM EST, with overtime available on weekends. This on-site position supports a major aerospace & defense company and requires an exceptional soldering professional with deep surface-mount rework experience. You will perform microscope-based inspection, SMT defect identification and repair, and advanced rework on bottom-terminated components, with quality verified through AOI and X-ray review. Candidates must have at least 5 years of soldering experience in a manufacturing environment and must be able to pass a medical exam.
