Assembly Specialist 2nd Shift

Accountability:

This position is responsible to perform assembly operations in building one or more types of precision unit assemblies, standard unit assemblies, and machine erection/teardown support.  Some assemblies may include development or prototype units. This position will be on 2nd Shift after initial training. 

Scope and Responsibilities:

Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Proactively attain a clean, safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Retrieve and study assembly instructions, detailed part prints, assembly layouts and parts lists.
• Gather parts/units, tools and/or material from inventory using a supplied material list.
• Prepare parts prior to assembly. This includes small sized unit assembly work.
• Follow detailed work instructions on order or assembly operations.
