Teledyne Qioptiq has an immediate need for an Assembly Technician. This is a non-exempt position that would receive overtime for working over 40 hours a week. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to perform duties with minimal supervision, thrives on challenge, mastering new information and ideas, is innovative and flexible, willing to tackle any task required in a constantly changing environment, can grow intellectually and professionally along with our company. We strive for quality not quantity.

Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of discrete and multichip semiconductor packages.
  • Dispensing encapsulant and curing of products.
  • Loading and unloading of assembly fixtures.
  • Operation of complex manufacturing equipment, such as vacuum reflow furnaces, laser marking system, packaging dicing saw, pick and place, nitrogen ovens, tunnel belt furnace, oxygen plasma cleaner, vacuum encapsulation chambers...
