Davidson is partnering with a well-established organisation to secure an Asset and Systems Accountant to support Finance through a major asset register retirement and migration to a new corporate asset management system.

About the Role

This role sits within the Finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager. The role provides specialist accounting, systems, and data expertise to ensure a smooth transition from the legacy asset register to the new system, while uplifting processes and controls across the financial asset lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Data migration & transition support: cleansing and validating asset data, reviewing mapping logic (opening balances, accumulated depreciation, useful lives, categories), and reconciling old vs new system outputs across mock loads/UAT/cutover.
