The Team: IT / Central Operations

You’ll join a dynamic team managing the entire lifecycle of IT assets — from procurement and leasing to inventory, compliance, and vendor management. Our team ensures efficient asset utilization and robust governance, enabling the business to scale securely and strategically.

Your Work Profile

As a Deputy Manager – Asset Inventory , you’ll build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, vendors, and finance partners. You will ensure that asset management processes are streamlined, compliant, and financially sound — always aiming to exceed expectations.

What you’ll do:

Asset & Inventory Management

• Maintain a centralized, accurate inventory of all IT assets (laptops, desktops, servers, peripherals, etc.).
• Ensure proper tagging, tracking, and documentation across locations.
• Oversee stock levels, inward/outward movement, and asset allocation.
• Conduct internal audits to verify inventory accuracy and policy adherence.
• Monitor asset utilization and oversee reallocation or secure disposal.
• Physical audit of stocks across locations and National level PAV

Lease & Financial Oversight

• Manage IT asset lease schedules and ensure timely renewals or returns.
• Calculate and allocate lease costs to the correct cost centers or projects.
• Collaborate with Finance on asset depreciation, budgeting, and forecasting.

Vendor Coordination

• Liaise with vendors for procurement, returns, buy-backs, and maintenance.
• Ensure timely delivery, installation, and configuration of IT assets.
• Negotiate terms, SLAs, and pricing while ensuring adherence to contracts.

Return & Buy-back Management

• Oversee return logistics for leased or retired assets.
• Manage buy-back programs with proper valuation and documentation.
• Ensure secure data wiping and compliance with disposal protocols.

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with IT asset policies and audit standards.
• Generate periodic reports on inventory status, vendor performance, and financials.
• Support internal and external audits with reconciliations and documentation.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field
• 8–10 years of experience in IT asset management, procurement, or operations
• Knowledge of lease accounting, asset lifecycle management, and inventory control
• Proficiency in asset management tools, ERP systems, and Excel
• Strong coordination, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Certifications:

• ITIL Foundation
• Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP) – preferred

Location and Way of Working

• Base Location: Bengaluru
• This role may involve occasional travel to other Deloitte offices/Client offices
