About the Role
SUEZ
is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee the asset performance,
lifecycle planning and maintenance governance of the Perth Seawater
Desalination Plant, a major piece of infrastructure providing, on average, 15%
of Perth’s drinking water.
As
part of the Operations & Maintenance Alliance with Water Corporation, you
will play a key role in ensuring the plant continues to operate safely,
reliably and efficiently. The position combines strategic asset planning with
hands-on involvement, working closely with operations, engineering and
maintenance teams to optimise asset life, ensure compliance and support
day-to-day performance.

You
will lead maintenance strategies, corrective and preventative maintenance
activities, engineering projects, shutdowns and manage an operational budget
aligned to long-term asset outcomes. This role directly supports SUEZ’s 2030
strategy by enhancing asset performance, strengthening governance and
contributing to high-quality service delivery for the community.
The
environment is well-established, supported by strong systems, programs and an
integrated team. The role offers regular engagement with the client, broad
visibility across the Alliance, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact
through improved asset reliability, cost optimisation and long-term planning.

About
You
You
are an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in asset
management and the operation of complex industrial assets. You may come from
sectors such as water, energy, resources, refining, heavy manufacturing or
similar environments requiring high discipline and reliability.

You
bring strong capability across asset lifecycle planning, maintenance
engineering, reliability practices and risk-based decision-making. You are
comfortable working within CMMS environments, interpreting technical
information and applying structured frameworks such as ISO 55001.

Your
leadership approach is collaborative, clear and practical. You work well with
multidisciplinary teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders and bring a
balanced commercial mindset. You enjoy combining technical depth with hands-on
engagement at the plant and have the judgment to align cost, risk and
performance outcomes.
