Assets Accountant

12-month max term | Hybrid working

Location: Alexandria, Sydney NSW 

We’re looking for a technically strong accountant to join our Shared Services team, responsible for lease accounting (AASB 16) and financial reporting for the Ampol Property Trust. Based in Alexandria this opportunity will be a 12-month max term contract.  

You’ll work with complex lease arrangements, partner with senior stakeholders, support audits, and help drive continuous improvement across accounting processes. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage and review lease accounting under AASB 16 
• Provide technical accounting advice on leasing transactions 
• Review complex lease agreements and model accounting outcomes
