Job Description
Working within a dynamic finance team, this Assistant Accountant role reports to the Group Finance Manager and provides support in all aspects of financial management and accounting operations. This role will assist with financial and management account reporting, reconciliations, budget and compliance activities, as well as supporting accounts payable and receivable functions.

Description
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Support the accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Maintain and update the general ledger as required.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Collaborate with team members on financial projects and tasks.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Working towards CA/CPA qualification.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
