About the Role

Our client is a well known local government statutory body, and water distribution utility organisation. They are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team based in Fortitude Valley QLD on a temp contract basis until 31st March 2026 with possible extensions.

Candidate Requirements

  • CA/CPA Qualification or working towards (Desirable)
  • Experience in a similar role as an Assistant Accountant
  • Journal inbox management
  • Journal preparation and processing

As the Assistant Accountant you will contribute to the delivery of timely and accurate processing of financial transactions. This includes the preparation and posting of journals to the finance system and preparation of account reconciliations.
