Responsibilities


  • Maintain Fixed Asset registers for various Group companies, recording additions, disposals and periodic depreciation.

  • Maintain Capital Expenditure Approval Register, ensuring full coverage of spend.

  • Prepare daily and monthly Bank Reconciliations.

  • Prepare and post monthly Journal Entries.

  • Assist with preparation of monthly and annual Management Accounts for various Divisions.

  • Administer and reconcile head office Petty Cash.

  • Ad-hoc and sundry analyses.

  • Act as direct assistant to Management Accountants.
  • Other accounting duties, as directed by Management Accountants.
  • Knowledge, Skills, Experience

  • Previous experience working within a busy Accounts Department.

  • Background in bookkeeping and core accounting disciplines, including related academic qualifications.
