CMA Financial Recruitment is partnering with a well-established, family-run service business near Littlehampton, West Sussex to find a dedicated and efficient Assistant Accountant to join their small, dynamic team.

As the Assistant Accountant, you will report directly to the Finance Director and take responsibility for supporting the month-end management accounts, transactional processing in multiple currencies, bank reconciliations, and credit control. 


What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?

  • Preparation of monthly accounts for review, including accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and journals

  • All aspects of purchase ledger processing in GBP, USD and EUR, reconciling statements and making payments

  • Raising of sales ledger invoices, copy invoices and credit notes

  • Chasing outstanding payments and allocating payments

  • Multiple bank reconciliations for 8 accounts
