Assistant Accountant

Our client, a reputable company based in Wallsend, is seeking a skilled Assistant Accountant to join their team for a 10-week contract. This is a full-time position, offering a fantastic opportunity to further develop your skills and contribute to a thriving finance department.


Responsibilities:



  • Assisting with daily financial operations, including cash posting, payroll, and accounts to trial balance

  • Reconciling accounts and ensuring accuracy of financial data

  • Managing VAT processes and assisting with the preparation of VAT returns
