The ENS services team at Burns & McDonnell India is building a team to support the US offices. The work that the ENS team supports includes air quality services, remediation services, natural & cultural resources, environmental studies & engineering.







Burns & McDonnell India (BMI) Environmental Services Global Practice is looking for a well-rounded and driven engineer/specialist who will be part of our growing Environmental Studies team.







**Key Responsibilities**







·Assist in automating workflows using GIS scripts and FME Form.







·Assist in developing solutions specific to reporting platforms offered throughout the organization, including Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI.







·Assist in configuring security and automation flow routines within applications.







·Assist project staff in producing deliverables for project needs and requirements set forth by the project managers.







·Assist with new software applications to support project delivery and data management initiatives.







·Assist in technology and software applications to support all Departments within the Global Practice.







·Assist with research and compiles project-related data as required by the project managers.







·Assist disciplines and different Technical Service Areas in developing software and technology to optimize business processes and deliverables, provide seamless integration, and improve data management.







·Apply basic knowledge of Burns & McDonnell Safety and Quality Control programs. Escalate risk related to compliance with company and customer policies.







**Qualifications**



·Bachelor’s degree in Geoinformatics, engineering technology, computer science, or related degree. Required







·Master’s degree in Geoinformatics, engineering technology, computer science, or related degree. Preferred







·Knowledge of processes for geospatial data using FME Form (desktop), FME Flow (server), and ArcGIS Pro for integration into ArcGIS Online (AGOL). Required







·Strong understanding of core GIS concepts, spatial data formats, coordinate systems, and projections. Required







·Hands on experience in building automated FME workflows for data transformation, validation, and processing. Required







·Practical knowledge of FME Flow to publish, schedule, and share automated workflows across teams. Required







·Experience using ArcGIS Online (AGOL) and integrating AGOL services with FME for seamless data exchange. Preferred







·Prior internship and/or related consulting experience. Preferred







·Basic knowledge of software development and programming experience. Preferred







·Certifications: FME Certified Professional or FME Flow Certified Professional. Preferred







·Excellent written and verbal communication skills







·Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment with demonstrated critical thinking skills.







·Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office suite).







·Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.







·Demonstrated leadership skills.
