Assistant BIM Coordinator

Job Summary: The Assistant BIM Coordinator acts as the key technical and implementation source for BIM for assigned projects and maintains effective relationships with design, project, and client teams. Provides guidance to estimators and project managers on the added cost to meet goals for project BIM implementation. Analyzes design for assigned MEP conversions to create workable models and ensure constructability. Checks for quality and accuracy of models, extracts quantities, performs clash detection and resolution, analyzes scheduling costs, resolves workforce conflicts, and creates documentation and representations. Must be able to translate 2D drawings and specifications into complete 3D building information models at advanced levels.
